iSight Connections was founded as a support group for individuals experiencing vision loss, giving them the opportunity to connect with others to share their experiences, resources and other information. The group meets monthly for a variety of events and activities that address different aspects of vision loss, to include independent living skills, mobility, participating in sports and outdoor activities, crafts, social gatherings and community events. Visual impairment can occur for many different reasons and can be many different levels or stages, all are welcome. Vision loss is a collective experience that impacts not only those who are losing or have lost their eyesight, but also those closest to them. We encourage participation from family and friends as sharing stories, concerns and experiences can help everyone learn different ways to deal with ision-related difficulties.
